In June of 2025, Nickodemus joined forces with legendary Hip Hop pioneers The Jungle Brothers for a hypnotic Afro-funk journey built around a sample from Mamadou Tangoudia’s 1980s classic "Kori" (Soninke Camara Productions / Hot Mule Records). The track pays homage to the Jungle Brothers’ iconic record Done By the Forces of Nature—a timeless influence on Nickodemus’ sound.

Just a few months later, DJ/producer Monk-One (Wax Poetics), dropped a remix that amps up the tempo with heavy funk, live instrumentation, and playful Boom Bap energy. Monk-One’s blend of funk, house, and hip hop references perfectly complements the track’s spirited vibe.
